Step 1: Contact us through our Online Application below or email us through the contact info on the Homepage. We also do adoptions in different locations around Oregon and Washington. See our Upcoming Events page for the schedule.

Step 2: We'll make arrangements for you to come pick out a greyhound. We have volunteers at events all over the Pacific Northwest. Chances are that we'll have an event near you soon, but if not we can also arrange for you to visit our headquarters in Waldport, Oregon to choose your perfect pet.

Step 3: After you've chosen a hound, we'll come screen your home. During this time we will also review our Greyhound Adoption Information Sheet with such items as feeding, supplements and other important information. At this time, if your home passes inspection, you will pay a non-refundable $250 adoption fee. This fee is also tax deductible since we are a non-profit organization.

Step 4: Very often, we have dogs already spayed or neutered and ready to go to their new homes. If this hasn't happened yet, we'll arrange for your dog's surgery. No dogs leave our program without this very important step. This process can take approximately one week.

Step 5: We'll arrange for you to pick up your greyhound. Your new companion will be ready to come to your home!
