H4H Featured Hounds

He's a large, very young & very active male who needs a home with a large fenced yard and another dog to play with. Barney is not okay with cats or small animals, but great with larger animals. He's been doing well with leash training so he responds well to discipline. He's being fostered right now, but will be available for adoption the first of June.

It is coming on time to reserve the space for our annual Homes for Hounds picnic. September votes won out, so we're shooting for the 16th of September. More news as it comes available. Watch this space!!

Contrary to what you may have heard, greyhounds are not hyper dogs, nor do they need the amount of exercise you may think. Remember, they are retired. Most of them want nothing more than to curl up on your couch and relax for the rest of their days.
